System // Crash (Public Beta)

This is a beta version of a soon-to-be released demo.

Ever wondered where we might be headed as a society run on AI nowadays? Ever wanted to experience that, but as an 18 year old with a sword, and WAY too many hours on Hack 'N Slash games? That's what I thought.

Welcome to System//Crash. A world where an AI-driven company called TyCorp has taken over EVERY facet of everyday life. From food, to clothes manufacturing, to even the entire government. The LLMs they use are outdated by at least a century, so it's not like they're actually that smart either...  So, what's their goal here? You're Adrian Elliot. Your mission is to find out who's behind TyCorp. Are you ready?

Movement = A and D

Jump = SPACE

Down Slash = S

Sword Attack = LMB

Ranged Attack = RMB

Cycle through weapons = Scroll Wheel

Reload (TyBlaster) = Q

Block/Perfect Block = E key

Dash = SHIFT

Skip Cutscene / Pause = ENTER

Fullscreen = Backslash ( \ )

W = Open Upgrade Menu (When near Derek)

-= KNOWN BUGS =-

- Cutscene music/voicelines sometimes persist between stages

- Audio mixing isn't quite right

- Some menu buttons don't display correctly upon load, but function as intended, and resolve once you click on them.

- Upon first play, some setting presets aren't correctly set, so you may have to enter the settings menu to adjust them before you play.
